An affordable, safe, drug free, licensed sober living home exclusively for women in recovery in Mohave County.
The Rose Garden House was donated in 2014 by a generous, Kingman community member who wanted to provide a safe and sober housing environment for women in recovery. It is located in a middle-class neighborhood accessible to bus routes, shopping centers, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
The residence accommodates 5 women and has three-bedrooms, two-baths, and a fenced back yard. The house is not a treatment program and no clinical services are provided at the residence.
Legislation passed in 2018 (laws 2018, Ch. 194), which required the Arizona Department of Health Services to adopt rules to establish minimum standards and requirements for the licensure of sober living homes in order to ensure the health and safety of Arizonans. On December 27, 2019, Rose Garden House became the first licensed sober living home in Mohave County.
